Dixie Pieces Owner, Brenna Grove'ello all....my name is Brenna Grove, co-owner of Dixie Pieces. Photography is a passion of mine, ever since I could remember. I just love taking pictures, especially black and white ones....too bad when it comes to taking pictures of me, they don't usually come out too well. I picked up scrapbooking many years ago because I needed some way to display my photos. I found out that I was good at this whole scrapbooking thing, and now scrapbooking is a way of displaying my art, both in photography and ability to make a piece of art from paper, ribbon, and letters.

I just love scrapbooking. Just like my mother, scrapbooking is relaxing to me. When I'm having a bad day, I scrapbook a happy memory and my attitude changes and I love it. And looking back into my albums always puts a smile on my face. I just need to learn to stop snacking on treats while doing it. Because although I don't have a problem finding time to scrapbook, finding time to work out is somehow hard for me to do. oops.

I also love crafting in the line of scrapbooking, from collages put in picture frames to gifts to give away. I hope to incorporate this love of mine into our business, offering all of you a simple way to put your ideas and passion into a piece of art to treasure forever. So, I invite you to kick back and stay awhile. Browse our site for ideas and meet new fellow scrapbook lovers, while we do the work of preparing a kit just for you.

My name is Helén and I live in a small town in Sweden. I am married to a wonderful man and I have 3 children. I have had a passion for pens and paper since I was a kid, so I was pretty happy when I found scrapbooking! I've always loved photography as well, so I truly feel like this is the perfect hobby for me! I have decorated photo albums for a long time, but it wasn't until late 2006 that I found out there was actually a name for it and that there was such a thing as scrapbooking stores! It was definitely like a new beginning for me and I have come to the point where scrapbooking is a must in my life. It gives me the chance to be creative, play with all those beautiful papers and embellishments, take pictures and also, meet new and wonderful friends! It's my way of getting some me time, which we all need!

I started out making mostly layouts, but over the years I have grown a lot as a scrapper and now I'll do anything from layouts to cards to altered art. That's the beauty of scrapbooking, there's always something new to discover, whether it's a technique or a product. My scrapbooking style is drawn towards the vintage and/or shabby chic. I'm totally hooked on layering, distressing and lots of embellies!

I am so proud to be a part of this team and this wonderful forum! I felt welcome right from the start and I can't wait to get to know everyone better! I hope that I'll be able to inspire you with my work - I know you will inspire me!

Kim, Dixie Design TeamMy name is Kim and I am so excited to be a part of the new and exciting Dixie Pieces Design Team! My family and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, about 10 miles north of Seattle, Washington. I have been married to the love of my life for 21 years and we have 7 great kids, 4 of which are still at home. My family is a big part of who I am and I am proud to say that I have been a homeschooling mom for over 11 years.

I started scrapping about 6 years ago and it has changed my life and given me a creative outlet that keeps me balanced and on track. There is an internal struggle that most mom's share and that is trying to find quilt free time for themselves while still feeling productive and present as a parent. My solution is scrapbooking. It is such a joy to watch my kids as they stroll back in time with my scrapbooks! They love them---in fact they can't wait for their favorite photo to find a home on a scrapbook page.

My basic scrapbooking style is clean, contemporary, and playful but I love to experiment with new ideas and new products. I am so excited to get to know everyone here at this great new site and share my passion with all of you! Happy Scrapping! Talk to you soon!

Krista, Dixie Design TeamI'm Krista and I have a dual role here at Dixie Pieces: I designed this website and try to keep it running smoothly and I am the designer of the Dixie Digitals digital scrapbooking kits. There's one more connection I have with this site: my mom and sis are the owners of Dixie Pieces. Well, plus I'm convinced that several of these ladies on the design team are my 'soul sisters'!

Really, I'm very new to scrapbooking. Initially, I was not 'into' scrapbooking because I saw it as {yet another} expensive hobby which I did not need to get addicted to! Shortly after I started working on dixiepieces.com, I was standing in the supermarket line and saw a Better Homes & Gardens magazine dedicated to digital scrapbooking. I was hooked almost instantly! My scrapbooking style is eclectic: I like to contrast something frilly with something tough or industrial - like a floral print with big, rusty staple. In fact, I'm rather fond of staples in general.

I have been married for 7 years. We just became first-time parents via adoption last year, and we have a lovely labradoodle named Abby. My husband is the 'shutterbug' in our family, and he keeps me busy with hundreds of pictures a year to scrapbook. In between web design, digital scrapbooking, church, and lots of travel, I also like cycling and reading... and food.

Hi! I am Leah Wright from the state of Alabama. I am a SAHM of two girls, ages 3 and 1. I have been married for 10 years to my High School sweetheart. My family is my main motivation for scrapbooking to capture everyday moments, but I also just really enjoy the creative process. I have been scrapbooking for about 4 years now, but my obsession with the hobby started after my first child was born and I found the online community of scrappers. I am also a photographer. For the most part this kind of just goes along with scrapbooking but I decided to start my own photography business a little over a year ago. I enjoy taking pictures of families, kids, babies, couples and newborns. When I am not scrapbooking, I enjoy playing games with my kids, reading, watching movies with my hubby, and college football. I am so excited to be a part of this team!

Hi, my name is Shannon Morgan. I am a stay at home mom (*for that I am extremely grateful!*), I have 2 kiddos (Patrick, 7 and Mackenzie, 5) and 2 crazy dogs (Cinnamon Buns, 3 and Nutmeg, 2). That being said, our house is always loud and there's never a dull moment.....giving me ample opportunity to scrap everyday things, like overflowing bathtubs and window marker art.... more so than occasions and events.....hmmm, what else....I just moved to Georgia from Tennessee...and before that from Michigan to Tennessee....I had lived in MI all my life. I have a cool husband who loves me despite my whining, quirks and dorky obsession with watching King of the Hill, Family Guy and Cake Boss. I have been scrapping since Paddy was born and it started out small with post card type things that I mailed out to family so they could see him growing and changing....then I branched out to calendars for the grandparents....but that got tedious after a few calendars and needless to say, that tradition has ceased. I didn't really start scrapping for myself until I worked at my LSS, I was then kind of forced to make things for myself so to speak. From there, I have gotten very involved in all things scrapping related...I hope to inspire you, I'm also a big time fan of baking and reading and walking Cinna-Bear...I am a fill the page-chunky-eclectic scrapper and am very white spaced challenged....I look forward to being a part of the Dixie Pieces Team and being part of such a great community of scrappers! *{thank you! See you around DP!}*

Dixie Pieces Owner, Sherry GroveHi, my name is Sherry Grove, co-owner of Dixie Pieces, and I've always been a paper and pen addict! As a kid, September was my second favorite month (my birthday month being first) because school started, and it was time to claim new books, papers, pens and pencils. I loved it when office supply stores started opening to the retail customer; didn't you?! :)

I come from the legal and technology fields; and I've learned that I love helping others, and I love teaching adults.

I was introduced to rubber stamping in the mid 1990's and from there found scrapbooking. I can play with paper, play with color, and also tell my family's story? Score! And scrapbooking extends our lives; really, it does! Scrapbooking is stress relief from an over busy and hectic life; and less stress equals living longer!

Dixie Pieces is built on dreams -- mine and Brenna's. I dreamed of creating a business that served others, offering the opportunity for us all to create something that gives us pleasure, that allows us to connect with one another, and leaves a legacy for our children. Now kick off your shoes and stay a while; this is a stress-free zone!

Hi! I'm Tammy and I live on a small farm in North East Texas with my wonderful husband and very quickly growing teenage son. It seems that all of my life I have been involved in some sort of crafting. In 1995 I began scrapbooking and then in 2001 my art took on a whole new form when I discovered rubber stamps. I love coordinating colors and patterns which is why I love kits - it allows me to spend more time creating! I have been published in several print and online magazines and have had opportunities to teach classes both online and in person. I am so thrilled to be a part of Dixie Pieces and I am looking forward meeting new friends and sharing my love of crafting with all of you!
