How much will shipping be?
We charge actual shipping, which means that during check out you will be asked to enter your zip code and the USPS will automatically figure the price to ship the package to your address. Within the US, we ship USPS Priority because it seems to be the best compromise between cost and speed. If you purchase more than a single kit, we will automatically look at shipping alternatives, like USPS Flat Rate, to reducing the shipping costs to you.
For our US customers, USPS Priority costs between $5 and $9, and shipping time would be 2-3 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We do ship internationally, and the same process above applies to international shipping addresses. For our Canadian customers, USPS Priority estimates the cost at $18 USD and shipping time would be 6-10 business days. First class mail would cost approximately $8 USD, but USPS says the shipping time varies. For our international customers not in Canada, USPS Priority estimates the cost at $22 and 6-10 business days. Again, first class mail would be less expensive but shipping time would be longer.
Will you ship to an APO/FPO address?
Yes! We will ship to APO/FPO addresses. The shipping will be charged actual postage and be sent the same way. Shipping to APO/FPO uses the US Priority mail rates but the international shipping times.
What happens if my order is lost or damaged?
We package our kits and all add-ons in plastic bags and then into cardboard boxes to protect them from possible damage. Once the packages are picked up from the post office, we are no longer responsible. However, if you would like to purchase insurance for your order, please email us at contact at dixiepieces dot com as soon as possible so we can send you an invoice for the insurance.
