I decided that that is so right ---- I can get through this --- I'm a good student --- I can learn how to live in this crazy time because it's not going to be like this forever. AMEN!

Scary times, but I have to keep reminding myself that we've seen better times and we'll see them again. Dh came home early today and the first thing I asked was did he get laid off. He just got done early, but its always in the back of our minds. Its almost funny how this economy has changed our thought patterns.

But I look for the silver lining! After 30+ years in finance, my hubby was recently made redundant at age 50. He took the decision to train as a teacher so is at college part time & works mornings as a teaching assistant. OK money is not coming in as it was, but we get more time together as a family & sit down to eat together every night - a luxury when he was working full time! So, as I said , for us it's working in our favour!
If I would just win the 325 million in Mega millions today I would spread the wealth to help stir our crappy Michigan economy. I'll keep you posted.
I think that we've been instilled with fear from all of the media and bad news - but i think we have to all learn to adjust and remember just the necessaties. I know our family had to do that. We just continue to trust the God in His promises. That He'll provide and will not leave us. There's hope.
This is so true!
I agree with you Calia. And I think we need to turn off the TV a little more and spend time with family. We need to work and provide for our family but not worry about it...God will provide. I don't understand why the media focus is always on the negative...why can't we have a little postive!
