LOL, I just blogged about it this morning. My youngest wants to be a fish. I'm not too surprised since he's really into fishing now, but I kinda thought he'd be a fisherman or something like that. Going to have to find a fish costume to make. I just have this feeling that I'm going to make it and he's going to decide that he doesn't want to wear it. He's pretty shy and quiet, doesn't like alot of attention drawn to him. I just have this inkling he's going to put on a fish costume and decide its not conservative enough.
My 5th grader said he didn't want to dress up anymore (sniff sniff), until he remembered that its tradition that the 5th grade boys dress as cheerleaders. This is a tradition that started back when my step daughter was in 5th grade. There was only 1 boy in their grade, so for their final year in grade school, the girls dressed as boys and the boy dressed as a cheerleader and it became a tradition.

DS has a collection of costumes to choose from, but I think he'll probably go with Cpt Jack Sparrow. I'm sewing DD's costume - Little Bo Peep. My challenge is finding a white shepards staff - any ideas?

My boys will probably still fit their 'Grim Reaper' & 'Zombie Pirate' outfits from last year, so hopefully they'll be happy with those!!

We chatted about it and even looked once but they are not sure yet.

I could swear that I answered this post this morning!
I give mine until the 25th to decide because they are so wishy-washy about it. Plus they are the ones that have to get it all together. I give them $15 each to spend at the thrift store. Last I heard, one was a surgeon and the other two were going as the patients.

My dd has decided she wants to be a pirate. We had everything we needed for the costume except she needs some kind of flowey shirt. We bought ds's costume at Party city last weekend, and he is going to be Snake Eyes from GI Joe. Youngest ds refuses to wear a costume.
