Do you start right after Thanksgiving or later in December?

We usually get our tree and decorations up the first week in December,and the lights the second week! I have really toned done in the last few years and don't put too much stuff up anymore.

I am the same way especially when it snows like crazy here that last year it took till march to get my santa claus of the lawn. It was covered then frozen to the ground..lol

We put up the lights on Thanksgiving day, only because we know we won't have any other time to do this. But I don't turn on the lights till about the 10th of Dec (don't want huge electric bills!). Decorating starts Thanksgiving Day also.

I'm trying to convince dh to put up the outdoor lights soon, since we've been having such great weather lately.
Indoors, we'll decorate the end of November.

We always put our tree up (fake tree) the day after Thanksgiving. I go shopping in the early morning and when I get back the tree is up and then the kids and I decorate and listen to Christmas music. I love the day after Thanksgiving!

I usually start the weekend after Thanksgiving when we usually get our tree, but we will be in Indiana until the Tues. after Thanksgiving, so everything will have to wait until the following weekend. I have a ton of stuff I put out and I always dread doing it, but I love having it all up.
