The url for the DixiePieces logo is: http://www.dixiepieces.com/images/dpLogoSignature.gif
Blinkies are used for crops or other online events, and the url would be different for each event. The instructions that follow use the August 2008 crop as an example.
To add a blinkie or logo to your TypePad blog:
WITHIN A POST
Place your cursor in the new post where your want the blinkie to appear.
Click on the HTML tab
Type or paste in <img src="http://dixiepieces.com/images/Dixie-Pieces-Summer-Splash-Blinkie.gif" />
AS A PAGE ELEMENT
- Login to your blog and click on the TypeLists tab
- Click on the Create a new Typelist link
- List type equals Links
- In the List name box, type in name of your list, like DP Crop Blinkie
- Click on the Create New List button
- Type or paste this code into the Title box,
<img src="http://www.dixiepieces.com/images/Dixie-Pieces-Summer-Splash-Blinkie.gif" /> - Type or paste the DP url into the URL box (http://www.dixiepieces.com). This makes the blinkie a link to the DP site.
- Click on the Save button to save your List
- Click on the Weblogs tab
- Click on the link to your blog
- Click on the Design tab
- Click on the Select Content tab
- Check the box next to your newly-created TypeList (may be called DP Crop Blinkie)
- Click on the Save Changes button located at the bottom of the page
- Back on the Design tab, click on the Order Content link and move your blinkie to the desired location on your page
- Click on the Save Changes button located at the bottom of the page
