Have you scrapped this size? I'm thinking of doing a 8 1/2 x 11 album. Just wondering if anyone uses this size and if you like it?

I used to back when that was the normal size and 12x12 was a luxury..It was ok, but I like how I can do a lot more on a page and fit more pictures on the 12x12. However, I have a 8 1/2 x 11 landscape album that I do everyonce in a while for fun and variety.

I used to scrap this size up until about a year ago.....I still do 11 x 8.5 for kids school album. I did like it but I take so many pictures I was doing 2 page layouts all over, the 12x12 fits me better....

I did about an even mix of 8.5x11 and 12x12 up until the last few months. Lately I just prefer 12x12, but I do like an occasional 8.5x11. For me that size worked really well when I just had 1 4x6 pic I wanted to use. It felt like I wasn't wasting so much space.

I do mostly 12x12 now, but started all my kids albums in 81/2x11, so until they are done I will still be doing both. Oldest dd's is almost done (I gave it to her when we were in florida, but still have a few pages I want to complete for it) middle one getting close..........but ds hasn't gotten nearly as much attention in the scrapbooking. I need to spend some time bringing his album up to date. I have gotten so used to the 12x12 that now when I start the smaller ones, it takes me a little while to figure out where to start.

I just recently completed an album that size of all my favorite photos in black & white with personal journaling on each page. It is one of my favorite albums.

used to scrap using this size. now, just occassionally. i scrap mostly in 12x12

I've never scrapped it - I do 12x12 exclusively, or mini albums. I don't do 8x8, 6x6 or any other size.

I have only did one album this size and I was paid to do it. However I am currently doing a Shutterfly album this size for a gift. My preference is definitely 12x12.

I did 8 1/2 x 11 when I first started and that was really the only size, then 12x12 came out and that was a BIG LUXURY!!! Now I am only a 12x12 scrapper.
