I bought the threading water punch and been using it non-stop eversince... so my question is, will the blades stay sharp...til when? i'm thinking what will i do if it won't cut anymore lol! i've been punching and using it almost everyday im afraid the blades will wear off right away. i don't own that many punches so i really have no idea how long they last.

I've heard that if you punch through waxed paper every so often that helps to keep the blade lubricated so that it will punch more easily.

The blades should stay sharp for thousands and thousands of punches. You'll probably get sick of the punch long before it wears out.

Punches can wear after a lot of use. Punch it through several layers of aluminum foil several times and that will help keep it sharp

Another good tip is to wipe them clean when you are done...the paper fibers will wear down the cutting surfaces fast if left dirty...
