The class will be tomorrow but I wanted to make sure you all had time to get your supplies together so here is the supply list.

Summer Splash card class supply list:
6x12 piece of striped pattern paper
6x12 piece of small print pattern paper
    1 white piece of cardstock
3.5x3.5 dark color pattern paper (black and white is good)
4 different sentiment stamps they can either be simple or have a frame to go along with them etc.
    Black ink
12-15 bling crystals (any color that matches your paper)
    handful of buttons
    1 floral chipboard shape
    flowers
    ribbon
    scissors
    trimmer

We will be making 4 cards with these supplies.

I hope yall are ready to make up some cards...

    Card Class instructions…

First thing you want to do is take your white cardstock and cut it down to 8 ½ x 11 (you will be using all of the 12x12 cardstock so don’t throw any of it away.) Then cut the 8 ½ x 11 sheet down to 8 ½ x 6 and 8 ½ x 5. Once you have that done take your 12x 3 ½ piece of cardstock and cut that down to two pieces of 3 ½ x 6. These pieces will be your cards.

    Card #1

    1. Take your 8 ½ x 6 piece of cardstock and fold it in half
    2. Take your 12 x 6 piece of small print pattern paper and cut a 4 x 5 ½ block from it and center it on your card.
    3. Take your striped pattern paper and cut two strips one being 1x4 and the other ½” x 4. Now tear the ends making the ½” x 6 piece shorter then the other.
    4. Now about 1 ½ inches from the bottom of your centered block place your two strips going at a slight angle with the smaller of the two on the top.
    5. Take your left over 12x1 white cardstock and stamp your sentiment and cut it out and place it over the right side of your 2 small stripes centering it with the end of your top strip
    6. Now take a few buttons and some bling and scatter to the right of your sentiment. Now you have completed the first card.

    Card #2

    1. Take one of your 3 ½ x 6 pieces of cardstock and fold it in half
    2. Take your 3 ½ x 3 ½ dark piece of pattern paper and trim it down to 3 ½ x 3 and palce it on the front of your card.
    3. Take your small print pattern paper and cut 5 strips from ½” wide to a little smaller width and tear them down to 3” long and place them on the front of your card with your dark background showing through between each strip.
    4. Take your piece of chipboard and place it on the front of your card.
    5. Stamp your sentiment on your left over strip of white cardstock and cut it out and place on the bottom right of your chipboard
    6. Add some bling. Now you have completed your second card

    Card #3

    1. Take your 8 ½ x 5 piece of cardstock and fold it in half
    2. Take your striped pattern paper and cut a 4 x 4 ½ block and center it on the front of your card.
    3. Take your small print pattern paper and cut a 1 ½ x 4 strip and center it on your card from left to right with a small slant going upward.
    4. Take your Flower and cut it in half and place on the left side of your card.
    5. Add some bling in the center of your card
    6. Stamp your sentiment right on the small print paper on the front of your card. Now you have completed your third card

    Card #4

    1. Take your 3 ½ x 6 piece of cardstock and fold it in half.
    2. Take your small print pattern paper and cut it down to 3 x 3 ½ and place it on the front of your card
    3. Take your strip pattern paper and cut a 2 ¾ x 3 and tear it to make it a little smaller then 3” and center it on your card
    4. Take your ribbon and make a bow and place it just a bit higher then your tear mark on your striped pattern paper
    5. Stamp your sentiment directly on your card under your tear mark. Now you have completed your fourth card.

I hope you enjoyed making these cards and please upload your cards in the Summer Splash Card class gallery for all to see.
