I agree...totally sad, but I commend the individuals that seek out assistance of any kind when it is needed...even when the measure is this drastic... I know a family that both parents are selling blood weekly to make ends meet... I can not imagine...

This story is sooo sad. The really sad thing for me is that it is no surprise. I was a crisis counselor for years and worked with these families. Either the kids refused to go home or the parents refused to take them. Most of the time things worked out and the families stayed together, but some kids became wards of the state and things did not necessarily get better.
I am not surprised with how tuff times are that this is happening more. I really hope for all of our sakes that things do get better!Posted 1 month ago # -

The widowed father of 10 hit me the hardest - I can't imagine how he has coped since the death of his wife, especially since she died giving birth to the 10th baby. I can't believe that this is happening in the United States of America! We really need to do something, and fast.
