we're in the middle of painting and poof....out goes the power for over an hour... what a pain in the you know what!!! I think it must be from the wind...pretty gusty up here on the hill today, but not good for my plug the kids in and help get the painting done plan...
Who said turn the power off....

Good stormy day here! We had to move our BBQ (for Dh's work) indoors! Not to much rain but LOTS of wind! Fortunately just a couple of brown dims but the power stayed on.

We had clear skies for a couple hours; now it's dusk and can't tell what's happening out there. Should have sun tomorrow though.
Time to take the camera for a ride.Glad I'm not painting.

Lynda our power went out yesterday and today... Yesterday I think from all the wind and today I think someone hit something or another. LOL We were out much longer today then yesterday though....

WOW!!! We are having a huge tropical downpour here!!! Water running down the streets. I was out shopping and before I got home I couldn't see two feet in front of me it was raining so hard!! I felt so bad for the guard at the gate of the military base. Thunder and lightning starting now too................I LOVE to watch the storms!! So far we still have power............but it seems to go off a lot around here(on the base) so checked the flashlights just in case!

So, yeah... We had that power thing, too. Remember the sports awards ceremony I mentioned for Saturday? Well, it was in Bremerton, and a transformer blew about mid-way through the first award and the remainder of the ceremony had to be conducted in the DARK with no microphone! I was just glad that it was a fairly bright and not-too-cold day, since we were in a college gymnasium, so they propped open the doors for some additional light.

No power outages here in Texas.... ofcourse IKE left us out of power for days when he blew through.... it's no fun!!
