Welcome, welcome, welcome! We're thrilled to be celebrating our FIRST Birthday! Hard to believe a whole year has gone by already and we've loved every minute of it.
This will be a month long celebration, starting October 10 and ending November 2nd. We will be posting at least one Challenge, Game or Tutorial each day and you'll have opportunities to earn points and win prizes along the way. We'll even be having a -gasp- SALE!!!! So keep watching for that 
The rules are pretty easy - first of all sign in here to let us know that you're playing, and if you have any questions this is the place to ask them. If this is your first time, we invite you to post to the introductions forum. You can introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about YOU.
Each Challenge will be worth 5 points and there will be a "Twist" which can earn you an additional 5 points - so potentially you could earn 10 points per challenge. You CAN do the same challenge more then once, and you'll earn points for every layout you complete. Layouts MUST be newly created for each Challenge, and you CANNOT combine challenges (translation: you can't make one layout and say that it applies for 3 challanges - we're on to you guys! LOL).
The Deadline for all challenges is midnight, November 5th, DixiePieces' time. That gives everyone a chance to do as many as you can, and if you miss a day here or there on the board you can catch up.
To earn the challenge points, your entry must be posted in the Birthday Bash Gallery by the deadline and must include the name of the challenge in the description. When you post your layout in the gallery, copy the link and post it into the thread for that challenge so that we can all go and admire your work (and it helps us to keep track of who completed what challenge).
We'll announce our Grand Prize winner on the board November 6th! The Grand Prize winner will receive the Dixie Pieces Kit of their choice!!!!
