Music is the thread that's been woven through my life, creating a blanket of color and sound. Some of the very first songs that had an impact on my life were:

Catch a Falling Star and Put It in Your Pocket. In first grade we listened to Robyn Weaver, deejay at WIRL radio in Peoria, IL, when we were getting ready for school. I remember waiting to hear this song. It made my day.

High Hopes -- my mom LOVED Ole Blue Eyes! This song was in a movie, and I remember Frank and a young boy sang it with him. Loved it.

Then in the early 70s there was this song! My goodness, I know it had to be the longest song on the radio when I was pregnant with Krista and had morning sickness. And it was popular, but I don't know why. For years after, I would get nauseous when I heard it. LOL
