What is everyone doing for the Thanksgiving holiday next week? Traveling, staying in town????
We're staying home...we're going to friends on Friday late day to have a day after get together...
I plan to hit some of the sales on Friday morning... many places are releasing their Black Friday ads on Sunday so you can really plan your trip out...
Oh yeah...I plan to take a LOT of naps since dh will be home for four days in a row!!
We are going to my grandparent's house for Thanksgiving-they live about 45 mins form us so we're not going far. Now that I am working in retail I will be putting in a LOT of hours this week-I work Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, and I don't know about Sunday as the schedule isn't posted yet! I am waiting to see the Black Friday sales and depending on what there is I may be going out on Friday morning! Saturday my mom, grandmother, the boys and I always go to a craft show, lunch and shopping, so we will be doing that-but I have to be at work by 5 so it will not be as much as we usually do together! I am hoping to be off work on Sunday as I always put my tree up on the friday after Thanksgiving, but with having to work this year...
We are staying home --and definitely hitting the sales on Friday. Other than that---a quiet weekend!

One of my daughters and I are flying to Portland OR next Tuesday night to spend the holiday with one of my sisters and her husband. Can't wait!!! We're going to make cards and work on quilts...and hang out in our jammies for a couple days too!!
we are having such a non-traditional Thanksgiving! We've rented a room in an agriturismo (like an inn on a farm) near Amalfi on the Amalfi Coast. We're only an hour away but we have yet to see the coast. We're hoping to do some sightseeing and hiking, and with a little luck we might be able to help with the olive harvest on the farm! I'm thinking we'll probably have pizza for Thanksgiving dinner! 
Sounds like a THanksgiving to remember Michelle................Two years ago, my Mom, my brother and I spent Thanksgiving in Hawaii staying in a hotel while I was getting treatments at tripler for breast cancer. Our Thanksgiving dinner was turkey sandwiches on the beach. We considered going to the club on the military base for our Dinner, but the beach in Hawaii was much more enticing. It's not what you eat, but who you eat it with that matters!!!
We'll be going to both of my Grandparent's houses. One for lunch and one for dinner. They are only about 10 & 20 minutes away from my house, so not much traveling here!
Michelle, yours sounds awesome. We'll be staying home - BIL is going to come and spend it with us.
