Anyone watch last night? That might just have been the most awesome tribal council ever. I couldn't keep a straight face.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED it! I only wish Bob hadn't told anyone he made the idol! If he stuck to the story of "finding" it then there isn't much chance of it coming back to bite him. He could have claimed someone else must have made it and left it to be found. Or it was set as a decoy. Nevertheless I was laughing right out loud!

Kim, Gwen and Val -- I'm sorry that this whole conversation is going on around you and you haven't a clue what we think is funny. I'm not sure how I got sucked into this reality show -- I do not like camping, or going without a shower or eating nasty live stuff, etc. But, here I sit, watching it for another season!
And Thursday night's episode was funny. I only wish that Bob -- does the guy wash his face -- didn't have to face Randy on the jury.

okay, here's the deal ladies - there is a guy on the show named Randy who is a REAL jerk. He's obnoxious, rude and just plain not nice. Bob, a very nice older gentlemen and physics teacher got sent to "exile" island and tried to find an immunity idol, not knowing that it has already been found by a woman named "sugar".
Bob, crafty and resourceful guy that he is, spent his day in Exile making his own idol using feathers, beads and tree resin. It looked like a REAL idol. When he got back he showed it to Sugar who told him that he should give it to Randy as a joke.
Randy and his cohort, some woman whose name I can't remember decided to to convince Bob to give Randy the idol so that they could vote out a woman named Susie. So Bobs showed the idol to Randy who then wanted the idol because he knew he was being voted off. Bob then told Sugar that he gave it to Randy and she said that she promised to keep him safe with her alliance.
That night at tribal council, Randy shot his big mouth off and infuriated everyone to the point that one woman was yelling while she was writing his name down - everyone sitting around the fire could hear her shouting "You've made my life a living hell since day one" and they were all laughing. The woman who was in Randy's alliance was smiling and winking at a few members of the jury, as to say "watch this, we're going to blow this game wide open".
The time came for Jeff to say "If anyone has the hidden immunity idol and would like to play it, now is the time" - so Randy pulls it out of his pocket and hands it to Jeff, with this completely smug look on his face. Everyone who voted against him is now in on the joke and they're all trying not to laugh, so they're covering their faces or putting their heads down - meanwhile Randy and this woman on his alliance are winking and nodding and smiling like they just ate the canary. So Jeff says "as you know, the rules state that if someone has an immunity idol, all votes cast against that person are void and the person with the next highest votes get sent home.........This, is NOT an immunity idol".
Randy's jaw drops and everyone now bursts out into fits of laughter. It was a really satisfying moment for the viewers.

Marci, I'd totally forgotten about the woman yelling while she cast her vote (ladies, normally this is a secret ballot). That WAS funny!
