OK, I LOVE buttons, but the only way I've found to store them is in a huge jar on my scrap table. I really like how they look in there, but I always seem to need the tiny one at the very bottom of the jar and it's so hard to get to without dumming them all out!!! Has anyone found an alternative to storing buttons? Share!!! Pleeeez!

i love buttons too! and this is what works for me: i have plastic organizers which has dividers. i store them by colors (if there aren't too many of each) and by design or type (wooden, flowers, heart, etc).

I don't mind digging...so I'm no help at all... I do have mine stored in smaller Prima flower bottles, so I don't have as much to dump out and can giggle them aound to look from the outside to see if the little gem I'm in search of is in that particular one...

I'm no real help either - I keep them stored in a maya road tin.

I have some square mouthed jars I got at M's, but I'm getting some of the Making Memories jars. I plan on sorting them all by color. I think it'll be easier for me, and they'll look great on the shelf.

I have mine in plastic storage containers that are divided. Each section can open individually so I don't have to dump! What's really handy is the bottom edge of the container is rounded so it's really easy to pull the desired button up the wall of the container and out.! I keep mine divided by colour. I know you can get them at Wally's. I'm thinking they're made by Craft Keeper???? They're like an oversized double sided pill container. It's a system that works great for me!

I have my buttons, brads, flowers, tags, clips, etc. sorted by color in the small, divided trays you can buy at target in the kitchen draw divider area. I like them sorted by color because I can just grab the tray and have every embellie bit I need .

My current system is in the plastic floss containers with the little square compartments. They are deep enough to hold lots of buttons and very easy to store. Floss keepers are also pretty cheep. You can generally find them for about $1.99. My floss container sounds very similar to the Craft Containers mentioned earlier. Look over in the sewing section by the cross stitch floss and the floss cards. I use the floss cards and this same type container for storing most of my ribbon. Works great.
