I make scrapbooks for my friend's kids each year. She always includes lots of newspaper articles in the "piles" of photos, memoribilia, etc for me to scrap. Have you scrapped newspaper articles? If so, what process do you use to make them acid-free?
I've scanned some and printed them on photo paper, but that takes forever. I've heard of the spray, but haven't used it.

I use the Archival mist and it works just fine. Better then scanning because you have the original item.

I usually go to the paper online and download and print the article so that it can be resized. That way it is acid-free and all in one place (not continued on another page).

ANother thing I have done is laminated the article.

I know there's a way to mix 7up and milk of magnesium (I think) that creates a solution that you put the papers in then allow them to dry and they become archival safe and won't yellow.

i've read somewhere (forgot the site shocks) that you dip the newspaper to water and let it dry out. just iron it afterwards, it releases the acid or whatever chemical it has. whichever works best for you though scanning it is fine too.
