What scrapping technique would you most like to learn how to do? Is there something you've seen or heard that you'd like to learn more about? Or have you tried something that didn't work like you expected?

I like to try everything. I tried using Glimmer Mist this morning and it didn't work the way I thought it would. It was much more runny then I thought.

That is exactly what I thought Marci! I even tried different distances and it always seemed to gloop (technical Glimmer Mist term) in the same spot...then run because it was so thick. It also is not exactly all that glimmery in my opinion....more like a tiny shimmer....not a glittery glimmer like I expected. I will let you know how my experiment with the radiant pearls inside the mini-misters goes...(picked up a few of these just today)
(and a stamp press for a friend)

Everyone raves about that glimmer Mist---I haven't tried it yet. I am glad to hear your reviews!
I would love a really good tutorial on Digital scrapbooking. I know how to play in Photoshop, but I would like some basics for making real 12x12's.
ALso, I would like to learn how to paper piece. I know this is an old technique but I would love to be able to do a real detailed piece.

we're both interested in a really great digi tutorial kim
i mean, i know how to edit and all but i want to learn more advanced techniques.. i also want to try hybrid-scrapbooking, not just typing my journaling and editing my photos but use my digital kits ON my traditional layouts and vice-versa.
speaking of traditional, i want to be able to finally get my hands on my own heat gun (YEP, I don't have one!!!) i am really afraid of embossing and all that stuff
but that is in one of my scrapbooking goals this year.

I had problems with the Glimmermist glopping up on my paper no matter how hard I tried, I would dab the globs with paper towels to get them off the paper. Figured I must be doing something wrong and contacted the company and they said to prime it first by spraying a couple of times on paper towel or something... haven't had any problems since I started doing that..
