I have the February kit, and I'm stumped. I tried to zoom in on Amy's LOVE album, but couldn't tell... Is the idea to cut them out and glue them on something? Or do I put it down and rub the back with a nickel? Help!

They're printed on Vellum paper, so you cut them out and glue them down, or attach them with brads. You need to use a special type of adhesive that won't show through the vellum. If Brenna or your Mom has a Xyron "X" that would be the ideal thing to use.

thank you thank you thank you

Of course, since I have totally procrastinated, I don't have any of those things. So, Modge Podge it is. However, St. Valentine will be with me... heh heh

Whew! I realized I don't even have any tacky glue on hand. I was afraid that it was going to have some acidic properties, but I'd come too far to turn back now.

i used my regular adhesive on mine, but an adhesive/tape for vellum would be best to use. now since you dont have it most probably, stick with what u have

I have a spray adhesive that I use for vellum----I have a shoe box that I put crumpled up tissue paper in the bottom of. Then I turn my vellum upside down in the box and give it a light coating of spray. I put the lid on and let it sit in the shoe box for about 5 minutes. This "dries" the glue and makes it tacky. Then I use tweezers to pic up my piece of vellum and put it on my layout. Because the back is completely coated with adhesive it doesn't show through and adheres in all corners. This way it will not be floating around on your layout. The adhesive ends up being temporarily removable which is nice to get placement perfect. THe tissue paper makes it easy to pick up your piece of vellum.

I love the tissue paper idea - I always end up getting the front of my item sticky with glue that I laid down before... Smart!
